"Surge" (Original Mix) - Clockwork ft. Wynter Gordon

Can you feel it? Henry Steinway on his latest Surge EP shows his production versatility, working alongside industry darling Wynter Gordon for a truly massive original collaboration. Clockwork aka RL Grime is known primarily for his high-decibel Trap sets that set the entire crowd off. But this first return to his alias Clockwork since "Titan" brings with it a huge new sound that is much more Electro House than before. Someone needs to remix this!

"Dirty Talk" - Wynter Gordon & Laidback Luke [Party Favor Trap Remix]

Trap is fucking hot right now! Everything is getting a sick Trap remix lately, and one of the latest epic track reworks comes from Party Favor, an up and coming trap producer from LA. Party Favor has produced an incredibly impressive trap remix of "Dirty Talk", one of my favorite Wynter Gordon tracks, and I love the raunchiness of her vocals combined with an amazingly sick trap drop. This track is the incredibly impressive follow up to the Party Favor remix of "One" by Swedish House Mafia, which was released just a few weeks before "Dirty Talk". Both tracks are incredibly impressive and definitely put Party Favor at the top of my list of up and coming Trap artists to watch. Enjoy!

Track of the Day: "TKO" - Wynter Gordon ft. The Oxymorons

After years of captivating the EDM world with her lusty party vocals, Wynter Gordon is now back with her solo EP, Human Condition. I first fell in love with her when I saw her perform alongside Dev in February here in NYC. I now religiously follow her music not just because her voice is one of the most coveted in the EDM industry, but also because of the shocking diversity in her music. My personal favorite off of Human Condition so far is “TKO”, a sick Trap number featuring The Oxymorons. Enjoy this bass heavy, drumstep number - it may be a while before she returns to her reign as EDM royalty. With plans for several more EP releases and the creation of her own record label, I can’t wait to track Miss Gordon’s progress as she explores the versatility of her career.

"Follow You" - Deniz Koyu

After producing one of the biggest festival hits of late "Bong" and a great remix to Zedd’s "Spectrum," Deniz Koyu follows up with a catchy, upbeat tune called "Follow You" that features vocals from Wynter Gordon. The Turkish producer ditches his iconic booming horn Electro House drop in favor of a more Progressive House big-room anthem on this hot new track released yesterday, August 20th on Big Beat Records. The track starts off with a bouncy melody and drumbeat that resembles his usual style but leads to Wynter Gordon’s soothing vocals over a rising, uplifting chord progression. Koyu’s successful stylistic change here goes to show how eclectic and talented he is as a producer and why is he one of the major rising artists in EDM today. Although Deniz won’t be at Electric Zoo in two weeks, definitely expect to hear this song on heavy rotation at Randall's Island next weekend!

Track of the Day: "Til Death" - Wynter Gordon (Back From the Future Remix)

I love Wynter Gordon. She's been the vocalist on some of my favorite tracks and remixes from the last year, and this one is certainly a solid remix. "Til Death" is one of those awesome remixes that's great from the beginning. I love the way the song starts off with the altered vocals and the subtle background synth leading into a driven two-step beat. This remix by Back From the Future is different and has enough elements of dubstep to keep it bumping and bass-filled, but the familiar vocals and song structure keep the song recognizable. Wynter Gordon is quickly becoming one of my favorite vocalists, so big up to Back From the Future for remixing such a solid track. Like this? Check out one of my favorite remixes of Wynter Gordon: "Ladi Dadi Part 2" by Steve Aoki. Shit's awesome.
