Break Science + Keys N Krates This Friday @ Webster Hall

Brooklyn's own Break Science had us drooling last time they made a stop here in New York City at Bowery Ballroom, and this Friday the improvisational Glitch-Hop duo is scoring a major upgrade with their very own show along with Keys N Krates at the Grand Ballroom of Webster Hall. Whether you're familiar with live jazz and hip-hop driven electronica or not, these two will trip up your senses in no time with their fantastic rhythms synchronized to one of the most psychedelic and well-executed visual displays we've ever seen. The duo will be joined by the harder sounds of Keys N Krates and NYC's own Shiftee to make a night of gritty dancing you've been waiting for all winter. Seven Lions @ Webster Hall - July 26, 2013 Pre Post

Maybe it’s his shy persona, or preference of maintaining a low social profile, but I always seem to forget about Seven Lions. However, when I heard that he was going to be in town this weekend, I wanted to kick myself in the face for being so negligent. After spending a mere half hour on his Soundcloud, I was all in love again with this talented dubstep producer. Spinning a deep vertical in to the genre of dubstep, from chillstep to superstep, Seven Lions has truly mastered the ability of being a diverse artist unlike many of his genre counterparts. Another  notable attribute of Seven Lions is his beautiful use of melody in all of his tracks, creating a lyrical base for the harder beats that he layers on top. Take all of this and combine it with his use of sentimental lyrics, and Sevon Lions could just be that sensitive grunge boy we’ve all been searching for. If you’re in the NYC area on Friday, make sure you come around to Webster Hall for what promises to be an brilliant performance by Seven Lions.

Tomorrow @ Webster Hall: Gramatik Age of Reason Tour

Gramatik and special guests heRobust and Cherub touch down in the Big Apple Friday night with their stunning Age of Reason Tour that has already been a huge hit throughout the country. Bringing along a very unique live setup with an immersive and complex visual rig, this New York City stop is one you surely won't want to miss!

Both of these guys are already having excellent beginnings to their year. Ushering in a new era with his own style of funky Electro Acid Jazz, Gramatik's got us hooked, and there's no way to know what he'll be putting out next after already seeing him transition through every genre imaginable. heRobust (Hayden Kramer) is coming off hot from his EPs OG Status and Busted House. Both feature a diversity of Glitch in which Hayden shows his fans how good he is at manipulating sounds. Hopefully we get a chance to sit down with these masterminds and pick their brains to see what they are up to. See you there!
