Track of the Day: "Code Emergency" (BT Mashup) BT + Andrew Bayer vs. W&W + Ummet Ozcan

If you tuned into to this week's episode of Tritonal's Tritonia or BT's guest mix on episode 26 of Group Therapy, then this tune will sound familiar. "The Emergency Code" is a spectacular mashup that wraps BT and Andrew Bayer's "The Emergency" around the pumping sound of W&W and Ummet Ozcan's "The Code."

These two are amazing on their own, but it surprised me how well the sound meshed together to add a different vibe to one of the favorite Electro tracks from the ASOT Expedition. BT is on a roll this year, having released hits such as his remix of L.A. by Super8 & Tab for Anjunabeats and the mindblowing "Skylarking.I'm off the wall excited to hear his new album and what else Brian has in store for us for the summer.

24 Free Set Downloads from ASOT 600 Den Bosch

I usually get sad listening to these on the live stream, but when I download them I'll have them on repeat for weeks. There were just too many sets to write about this time around, but I can personally recommend Omnia, Arctic Moon, Aly & Fila, Solarstone, and Kearney's sets which were all out of this world. There's a lot of music new, old, and unidentified to be discovered in these archives so just click and download them all!

Track of the Day: "Here & Now" (Original Mix) - Ummet Ozcan

Just when you thought that Ummet Ozcan couldn't get any better, the Turkish/Dutch DJ trailblazer raises the bar even higher with his latest dancefloor destroyer "Here & Now" released on Spinnin' Records. Pairing brassy and sharp synth chords with the perfect amount of reverberation, this song has that electro intensity that is ready to make you work. Moving flawlessly in and out of trance, electro and progressive, it's no surprise that this has gained support from some of the world's top DJs and set the crowd off when Cosmic Gate dropped it at UMF. I can't get enough of the trance influenced build ups that use the perfect touch of vocal sample distortion as the progression climaxes with Ozcan's notorious bouncing big room style. Everything about this track has me mesmerized and after you take a listen it is sure to have to same effect on you.

Out now on Beatport!

Track of the Day: "The Code" - W&W & Ummet Ozcan

The latest Revealed Recordings banger to hit the floors is sure to get that pulse up. I'm sure I heard this in the mix from W&W at their show on New Year's Eve, and it killed. Set for release within the next few weeks, this ASOT rip is the best new EDM track to hit the web. "The Code" is a dense, uniquely complex arrangement of pounding bass and hard synth lines that will really get your shoes moving fast. A totally new Electro fueled sound for these two surprised me, but I assure you it's nothing less than dirty. Await the full release but for now get down to one of the hottest new tunes of the season!

Triple Stacked Trance Tuesday

"The Box" - Ummet Ozcan

Ummet Ozcan introduces us to a refreshing deep sound and intensifying beat with "The Box". This track is definitely not your average trance track, but its the kind of track that keeps the listener's ears peeled. Mixing up the tune with a multitude of different sounds, Ummet Ozcan then rewards us with a hard nasty drop, which is sure to spice up just about any set. I am not lying when I say this track is good, and the Beatport charts don't lie either. This deep, hard and fat sound has been turning up in trance sets all over, and I am excited to see more tracks like it. Take a listen and you will see what I mean!

"Easily I Fell" - Exostate (Norin & Rad Remix)

A&B prodigies Norin & Rad can do no wrong in my book, and this remix is no exception to that rule. Pairing their clean funky trance sound with the beautiful vocals of Jeza, "Easily I Fell" finds a unique balance between a groovy beat, and a gorgeous, classic Trance build. With beautiful piano melodies, Norin & Rad give you a taste of what trance is all about, only to throw you back into their signature groove. It is really great to see innovative trance producers like Norin & Rad incorporating both old and new sounds into their work. This duo are certainly making a name for themselves in TranceI am excited to see what waves they will be making next. Enjoy.

Golden Oldie

"Can't Sleep" - Above & Beyond feat. Ashley Tomberlin

From the renowned trance trio's debut album Tri-State, "Can't Sleep" is no doubt a classic that will never die. Featuring the haunting vocals of Ashley TomberlinAbove & Beyond showcase us their classic ballad style of Trance music. Pairing meaningful vocals with simplistic, yet uplifting trance, this track is merely only a taste of things to come. I recommend listening to the entire Tri-State album, because this song is not the only gem. If you want to call yourself a true Trance head, you need to have listened to this album. Trust me, you won't regret it.
