Track of the Day: "Hey!" (Original Mix) - Filip Jenven

Making his debut on XtraLife RecordsSwedish producer Filip Jenven drops his track titled "Hey!". The combination of progressive and electro, full of percussive drums and a relentless bassline makes this massive track a definite subwoofer-wobbler and easily a summer banger and dancehall destroyer. Jenven even sneaks some sick violin sections in to complement the fierce Electro frenzy that awaits you with thunderous energy and intensity. Don't be surprised if you hear this riot of a track track snuck into some powerhouse sets this summer, it will surely catch you off guard.

Track of the Day: "Hearts" (Kaskade & R3hab Remix) - Dan Black ft. Kelis

Two unlikely collaborators make for an unexpected remix. Prepped for our listening "somewhere in the summer of 2012," R3hab and Kaskade's collab on Dan Black's "Hearts" showed up on the web just hours ago and it is already receiving rave reviews. This is quite an unusual sounding track but delightful nonetheless because it's all about the collision between the two artists' skillsets; Kaskade's touch shines through on vocal Progressive tracks (Kelis is a perfect candidate), and R3hab's on the climax. Together the forces bring forth truly major track that warms my soul. Blast this track from the mountaintops "'cause the heart never sleeps!"

"After Dark" (Nom de Strip Remix) - Style of Eye & Tom Staar

Let me be the first to say that I was a huge fan of the original club mix by Style of Eye and Tom Staar.  "After Dark" was my early spring jam and something everyone could enjoy with its great progressive house/pop melody over a subtle Teched-out beat. Now that it's summer time and I'm back in NYC, I'm always looking for the hard hitters: the ones that I can hear at clubs and lose it all night to. Leaving the soft components of the melody with the vocals that I love, Nom de Strip strips it down into scratching Electro perfection, paints on some drum work and intensity to the build up, unveiling a track that's made to make you dance for days. Watch out for this Canadian powerhouse as he keeps crashing the Electro party!

Track of the Day: "Champagne Bop" - Doctor P

Originally played by Flux Pavilion on his mix for Diplo & Friends back in April, Dubstep M.D. has officially put out his first track in quite some time. This is another amazing song from the great featuring his signature high-pitched screeches and deep wobbles - we've missed you Doctor P! Once he gets you nice and comfortable with how the beat's going, he really starts to show off his skills with an unexpected massacre of a drop around the 2:30 mark. Here's to a perfect song for fulfilling your Dubstep needs and keeping that brain feeling like cheese.

Track of the Day: "Give It All" (Don Diablo & CID Remix) ft. Alex Clare

Don Diablo delivers a highly impressive remix of his own original with CID for "Give It All," an energizing yet forceful Electro House track with a very pleasing vocal score complemented by bass components. The vocals on the track are provided by Alex Clare, whom we all know very well thanks to "Too Close." I'm really digging this sound, it's quite refreshing and makes me happy to hear after months of stuff that's really only struck me as "meh." This is one that will stick with you after the first time you hear it, and I'm loving that. Big ups to these amazing producers, grab your copy today!
