"Mood Is Good" (Original Mix) - Superjunk

"I got a lot to say I just can't tell you everything..." Rising up in 2011 from the Mediterranean African country of Tunisia comes a duo of unusual sorts. Tahar Slama and Mahdi Machfar joined forces a few years back to give birth to a new wave of Tech that captures the tropical beach House sound while adding an undeniable spice of African soul through minimal production style, and they've been elevated on the charts ever since. Umek's unwavering support whether in his live sets or on Behind the Iron Curtain has been truly invaluable to their growth as a promising upcoming production team. Be sure to check out the full EP!

"Stigma" (Slam Remix) - Juan Sanchez

Done right Electro can do the trick, but I don't personally see the wave of instant gratification in music lasting forever. There are plenty of genres to save the day whether it be Deep House, Tech, Trance, or good old Drum-and-Bass. This week on his Drumcode podcast, Adam Beyer pushed a ton of new tracks for our ears with this being one of the deepest and sexiest of the bunch. Spanish-born Sanchez has been a huge force in the Dutch club scene with his tantalizing analogue-driven drum sounds made for the big clubs with room to dance. UK duo Slam have been bringing the low frequencies since their hit debut to the scene "Postive Education" four years back and are back with yet another savage remix for us insatiable House heads.

"Take Hold" (Original Mix) - Adam Beyer & Nicole Moudaber

The queen of underground Dark tech is coming into the Spring with an attitude ready to break her through to a queen of the mainstream. The House vixen won me over in March with an absolutely jaw-dropping set at the Ultra MegaStructure where she premiered this track for the dancing masses under thick clouds of carbon dioxide and oscillating video screens hung from the roof. Her latest collab with Adam Beyer has an infectious clap to its backtrack that waves in and out through the muffled vocal samples to make a truly groovin' track. With her confidently-named EP Believe forthcoming on Drumcode the 6th of May comes a chance for her music to shake the roofs of North America well beyond Europe and Miami.

Track of the Day: "Thunderstuck" - Cirez D

The darker side of Eric Prydz is always creeping out, especially when he gets down to business as his alter ego Cirez D. If there was a track made for the vibes underneath Ultra MegaStructure, this is it. Although Prydz received a lot of heat for some public embarrassments after boozing up too hard during WMC, he manned up to his mistakes publically and is here to redeem himself today in a futuristic fashion. The powerhouse Techno wizard uploaded two new tracks earlier today he's been previewing since Miami for his upcoming 18th release on Mouseville May 6th. "Thunderstuck" is a radioactive Techno anthem held together by blaring alarm bells and an orchestra of percussion. Tracks like this are why we blog! Be sure to check out the second track he uploaded "Drums In the Deep" if you like what you hear.

Free Download: Nicole Moudaber Live @ Awakenings Easter Special

The 29th of March Carl Cox & Friends assembled at the famed Gashouder in Amsterdam for an all night marathon of Tech and Deep House. The famed indoor dance venue was live with the best of the darker side of dance, with people grooving until the sun was up from 10 PM to 8 AM. One of the best sets I saw this year at either Ultra Music Festival was without a doubt Nicole Moudaber's at the MegaStructure. I challenge all the superstar DJs to take on the sheer technical skill of Nicole's prowess and then tell me this is a male-dominated industry. Grab the free download and bump it loud - you'll soon find yourself lost in a smoky haze of Techno dreams.
