"Code Of The Siren" - SirensCeol & Culture Code [Free Download]

When I first saw that SirensCeol and duo Culture Code teamed up to do a track together, I stared at my computer screen wide-eyed with the goofiest smile on my face. I've been following both of these names for months now, seeing how they've each steadily increased their fan base along with how they've each racked up quite the impressive collection of bangers. So, naturally, I was beyond thrilled at seeing so much talent come together, especially when they released this song as a free download. Playing on a mix of both their names, this track, "Code of the Siren," takes the playful, upbeat mood that is characteristic of SirensCeol and mashes it with the heavy, pushing sound that first put UK bass duo Culture Code on the map. This genre twisting track has both delicate rifts and smashing basslines, making it a perfect summer tune.

Free Download: "Fire" (Original Mix) - SirensCeol

Bay Area native Stephen Burke hasn't slowed down since we first posted one of his tracks "Whiplasher" back in February. The 20 year old wiz kid from Berkeley has been playing piano since age 11 and cites Beethoven as one of his biggest inspirations which shines through in his perplexingly multifaceted production style. His tracks hold a common theme of unwavering positivity that holds far more meaning than the cattered Electro Glitch and shaking synth play that defines them compositionally. SirensCeol ("Sirens Soul") had one of the best submissions to this year's Electric Forest Discovery Project in a genre-bending mix that calls upon complextro and bass to make one nasty but still uplifting concoction. Keep your eyes on this young wonder as he keeps his eyes on the sky, and grab the free download!

Track of the Day: "Whiplasher" (Original Mix) - SirensCeol

SirensCeol, a.k.a. Stephen Burke, has established within the past year how well-rounded of a producer he is, releasing tracks ranging in genre from drumstep to soulful Dubstep. His specialty though is this Electro groove sound, and "Whiplasher," his latest creation, is a masterful display of his talent. By lacing a positive beat with smooth vocals, then transitioning into what I think of as "randomly arranged" digital synths that strike hard, "Whiplasher" is the perfect name for this track. The second drop slows down, is scattered and heavy, but is drifted alongside the lyrics. The contrast between lively and dense melodies makes sense and the craftsmanship of the song will make any listener appreciative. This San Francisco producer drops a free track almost every week, so tune in for what else SirensCeol has in store for the future.
