Track of the Day: "Rokit" (Chable & May 808 State Mix)

For today's Track of the Day I thought we'd take it back to the basics - it took a bit of digging but I found the ideal deep mix to satisfy the feels we all need this evening. The combination of these two Australian producers brought us Luke Chable's remix of Steve May's "Open Day" back in 2004, but this year they're back with a dual production that highlights the wonders of Progressive House. A quick listen to these two's past works unveils a true appreciation for the term "progressive," with each section building on itself and multiplying so slowly that the whole track really creeps up on you. Before you know it the sounds are vibrating your walls and shaking the world around you, but even if you find yourself noticing you probably don't care. Grab the original Progressive mix and the chiller drawn-out 808 State mix now!

Track of the Day: "Love Is The Answer" (Tiësto Remix) - Jus Jack & Oza

Released by Musical Freedom on May 21, "Love is the Answer" by Jus Jack & Oza ft. Blessid Union of Souls will definitely give most of us a nostalgic feeling. When I first heard the track I felt creeping deja vu — and then I realized that this was Blessid Union of Souls’ 1995 single "I Believe" transformed into a progressive house masterpiece in a way I would have never thought possible. Clearly, the newly formed duo of Jus Jack & Oza thought that it could be done and they definitely made it happen. Their original mix of the track set the stage for Tiesto to give it a more boosted and big-room appeal. 100% the proceeds from this remix will go to the World Childhood Foundation. Show that love is the answer and spare a couple bucks to grab the track!

Track of the Day: "Watch Out For This" (Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Remix) - Major Lazer

After producing Tomorrowland's official theme tunes for the past three years, Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have become international sought-after producers for their profound editing skills, it is no surprise the duo have remixed Major Lazer's "Watch Out for This" with their recent successful African-inspired sounds heard in "Turn it Up/Mammoth" and "Wakanda."

Enhancing Major Lazer’s afro-cuban, laid-back track, the pair kick up the beat tenfold adding to their remix a perfect main room sound. The track starts out the memorable horn pattern that screams summer, edging into the repeated "watch out for this" chants, which combine perfectly to lead into a Progressive House line that makes you want to get out your chair and dance.

"Lost In Orbit" (Original Mix) - Adam K & Soha

These two are always on our radar even if they've been evasive for the past few years. The Toronto based duo of Adam K and Soha Radjpoust are some of the most important pioneers of the Progressive movement that inspired the sounds of today. Their newest release for Hotbox Digital takes their sound forward to an arena-sized bigroom vibe, a huge departure from classics like "Twilight" or their remix of "4 AM" for Kaskade which were distinct for unraveling basslines matched with soothing drum breaks. While admittedly some fans may be disappointed with the change-up, I think they pulled off the sound they were going for with esteem and remarkable precision. You go guys!
