Track of the Day: "Something To Believe In" - NERVO & Norman Doray

The super hot Australian twins Miriam and Olivia that form NERVO are back with another excellent collab with Norman Doray and let me tell you, this track is nearly as hot as all three of them are. The Aussie twins have been putting out some very impressive Progressive House tracks in the last few months, and with so many consistently good original productions, it's not hard to see that they have become the number 1 female DJs in mainstream EDM. "Something To Believe In" is a festival-ready tune that has scored a place on my pregame playlists and should definitely earn a spot on yours.

"Love Icarus" - Madeon vs. Nervo (Aylen Mashup)

Here is a brand new House mashup from New Jersey based DJ and producer, AYLEN. The track beautifully blends the young Madeon's "Icarus" with the sweet vocals of the NERVO twins' "You're Gonna Love Again." Be sure to grab this mashup by AYLEN for free, and check out his other killer originals and remixes! Another one of my favorites is his "Blessed" remix, which is also available for free download below!

Track of the Day: "Reason" - Nervo vs. Hook N Sling

Closing out the summer with a bang is this huge collab by NERVO and Hook N Sling! Out today on Spinnin' Records the Australian trio deliver this big-room Progressive track "Reason," which showcases the NERVO twins' stunning vocals, bouncy and energetic chords with an uplifting and impressive drop. I'm looking forward to hearing this one blast through the speakers this weekend when NERVO take the stage at Electric Zoo! "A must have for your summer festival sets."

Out now on Beatport!

Review: NERVO at Pacha NYC

The super fresh blonde twins from Down Under graced NYC's Pacha with a high-energy set Saturday night, showing the entire Midtown crowd what being female DJs is all about.

Kicking off the night with a bang, the NERVO girls spun their own original, "The Way We See The World" to the great enthusiasm of the crowd, then seamlessly transitioned to their new new collaboration with Nicky Romero "Like Home."

The twins packed the popular nightclub, keeping the crowd swaying with hit records including Nari & Milani's massively popular "Atom," Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano's "Lethal Industry," Alesso, Steve Angello, & Sebastian Ingrosso's "Eclipse (Why Am I Doing This?)" and Benny Benassi's remix of "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris.

However, the magic really happened halfway through their set when fellow Aussie, Tommy Trash, surprised NERVO in the DJ booth and the club exploded in excitement. Dancing, laughing, singing and dropping massive anthems for the remainder of their set, the girls' energy, enthusiasm, and bold personalities truly shined. NERVO closed with their original banger, "We're All No One" leaving the crowd wanting more.

Here's a Pic I Took from the DJ Booth When Tommy Was On Stage

Next up, Norman Doray transitioned flawlessly into his set, dropping the brand new anthem from Filo & Peri"SummerSLAM" which we recently featured! Doray kept the (still solid-packed) Pacha dancing until the wee hours of the night with Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl's "In My Mind" featuring Gregori KayAvicii & Nicky Romero's "Nicktim," and a really cool mashup of Dada Life's "Kick Out the Epic Motherfucker." Doray gave a nod to Tommy Trash when he blasted "Cascade" through the speakers, and the crowd erupted!

I was quite surprised at the turn-out as Laidback Luke's Super You&Me at Governor's Island was the same night -- at which Luke, Datsik, Tommy Trash, Peacetreaty, and Oliver Twizt performed. Nonetheless, the dance floor, mezzanine, and upper floor were jam-packed until well past 4:30 in the morning!

If you missed this solid set, you definitely don't want to miss the NERVO sisters next time they're in town!

Mix of the Day: Hardwell on Air Episode 068 (Dyro Guest Mix)

Hardwell is back with this hot new episode of his weekly radio show, this week guest mixed by none other than Dyro! Opening smoothly with the hard-hitting House anthem "You're Gonna Love Again" by producer Nervo, Dyro slowly picks up the pace including some of his own productions such as his mashup "No EMP" of Steve Aoki and Afrojack's "No Beef." Even better is his inclusion of a song we featured as Track of the Day a week back or so "Damage Control" by Lazy Rich and Hirshee featuring the sweet melodic vocals of the immensely talented vocalist Amba Shepherd! Other highlights include Zedd's "Spectrum," which has rapidly shot to the top of the EDM charts since its release (if you haven't heard this track already, it's about time!). Dyro closes the mix with some hard-hitting Electro Dubstep from none other than Knife Party, with their hot new single off their EP of the same name, "Rage Valley." Enjoy this mix this weekend!
