"Where Did I Go" - MONSTA (Dillon Francis & Kill Paris Remix)

It seems like everybody wants a piece of MONSTA recently. First Skrillex and Nero, now Dillion Francis and Kill Paris take a stab at remixing his gargantuan track "Where Did I Go." Francis and Paris transform this airy electronic pop tune into a hard hitting head bouncer! Definitely a track you want to play to get the party started. This one really caught my attention, so I'm excited to hear the rest of the new EP and for the remixes to keep coming. The EP releases today on Skrillex's OWSLA!

"Bootleg Fireworks" (Burning Up) - Dillon Francis (Preview)

One word for you all: moombahton. If you are unsure of what this newer, and often underrated genre is then you are about to get real familiar. Today Dillon Francis blessed fans' ears, but left them even more anxious, with a preview to his song "Bootleg Fireworks," set to drop October 30th via Calvin HarrisFly Eye Records. There’s no getting around that when this single is officially released, it’s going to be a massive hit. Stay tuned for more releases from Dillon in the near future including a track with Calvin himself "Here 2 China," featured on the upcoming album 18 Months. Dillon starts his US tour November 4th, so don't forget to check dates coming to a city near you. The Wet and Reckless Tour speaks for itself!

Track of the Day: "Get Free" - Major Lazer (What So Not Remix)

As Major Lazer’s biggest fan, I have to be honest when I say that "Get Free" was not really one my favorite songs. Don’t get me wrong, Amber Coffman’s vocals were amazing in it but the song just sounds more like the Dirty Projectors than Major Lazer’s heavy Moombah sounds. Andy C impressed us all at EDM Lounge with his remix but I didn’t think that I would find another mix of equal acclaim. Australian duo What So Not proved me wrong. We’re going to be keeping up with this Afro-Beat newcomer in the next upcoming months. You will too, after you hear this mix. Press play and wait for that drop at 3:25.

"Make It Bun' Dem" - Skrillex & Damian Marley (Sam Lassner)

NYU sophomore Sam Lassner showcases his talents with a one-of-a-kind, masterful remix of Skrillex and Damian Marley’s “Make It Bun' Dem.” Lassner cultivates a diverse musical environment that incorporates a nu-jump arrangement with underlying brass and guitar support and an array of catchy drum work that impeccably bridge the lighter, melodic portions of the track with the hard-hitting Moombahton breakdowns. Lassner’s constant increase in the production value of his work is a strong sign of future success down the line. With the right management and right track release timings, anything is possible!

"Badman Sound" - Kid Sample (J-Trick Remix)

Cap off your weekend with some down n' dirty Hard Dance from J-Trick with his  remix of Kid Sample's "Badman Sound." This hot new release takes Kid's House original and meshes it with a jungle beat and hard-hitting breaks and synth progressions. With Deep House & Moombah samples and enough glitch to make even the shyest get down on the floor, J-Trick is ascending to the top of the Hard Dance charts. And recent support by Chuckie and Diplo indicates there's no slowing down for this Australian up & comer. Check it.
