Will Atkinson Live from Buenos Aires 3/19/2014 [Download]

One of our favorite DJs of 2014 Will Atkinson brings us a live set download from Argentina's capital city! Whether you were lucky enough to witness him first-hand or not this year, Will has no doubt been pushing the envelope, bringing on a new wave of Tech Trance that can satisfy the hunger of both the psychedelic and techno camps. We brought Will to NYC this February for his city debut and have been counting down the days till his return ever since. Until then, fill your cravings with this monster Trance mix.

5 Sets You Don't Want to Miss at Tomorrowworld

Damian Lazarus (Friday 8:30 PM @ Deep End)

London-born, LA-based Damian Lazarus has a remarkable knack for focusing the rhythm. First finding his big break back in '03 with his first gig at Barcelona's famed Sonar Festival, Damian has been blasting the sound from the subwoofers through people's bloodstreams for the greater part of the millennium, and tomorrow he's back to make your knees buckle. Reading a crowd and unraveling the sound as he goes, Lazarus is an international DJ in every sense, adapting for the masses from the Black Rock Desert at Burning Man to the shadowy terraces of Ibiza.

Frontliner (Friday 11:00 PM @ Q-Dance)

The Europeans have made it very clear that a successful American Hardstyle revival is one of their top priorities. To that end, topping off the madness on Tomorrowworld's opening night is none other than the "Weekend Warriors'" biggest advocate: Frontliner. Hailing from the Netherlands, Barry Drooger holds the key to unlocking those stiff legs of yours and getting the shuffling started, so if you like a good workout at your shows you won't want to pass this one up.

Codes (Saturday 3:30 PM @ Fool's Gold Clubhouse)

Acid disco is this brave Brooklyn jockey's self-pioneered sound and it's been working wonders for him lately. With a hefty peppering of kick drums hitting a truly clever balance of the low end, this guy's captivated audiences from HARD Los Angeles to Camp Bisco with his trademark self-proclaimed "Codes House." There's this elusive time in the afternoon where the sun's beating down on all the partying people that makes this kind of sound really go off and ID&T picked just that time.

Treasure Fingers (Saturday 7:30 PM @ Fool's Gold Clubhouse)

This Saturday Atlanta born Ashley Jones is back on his home turf and ready to make you sweat. Treasure Fingers has his finger on the dial of that slippery sound that surges between upbeat tech and glitch-driven House with the result being a mix that flows like no other. After highly successful tours with the likes of Fake Blood, A-Trak, Chromeo, and Felix Da Housecat, TF is set to break into the new year with a newly sharpened arsenal of auditory delights. Let him carry you through the sunset into the world of Tomorrowworld after dark.

Simon Patterson (Sunday 7:30 PM @ TranceAddict)

"Psymon" won over my heart this summer with three sets that were truly mindblowing, from the original Tomorrowland in Belgium to Santos Party House here in New York City. After reflecting on his sheer dancefloor annihilation I knew that Patterson is truly in a realm of his own when it comes to festival DJs, who are often too afraid to take the audience to that impenetrably dark side of Trance & Progressive. On the other hand, his sound appeals to all corners of the dance aficionado, piecing bits of traditional Trance to the larger backbone of 140 Goa and Progressive Psychedelic. Admittedly Simon's competing for the same time as Hardwell, but I assure you that if you like nonstop dancing with just enough breaks to let you catch your breath, this is one set you absolutely do not want to miss.

Live Set: Ferry Corsten B2B John O'Callaghan @ Tomorrowland

Saturday was my favorite day of Tomorrowland with stellar performances that encompassed everything from Dark Techno to Uplifting Trance to dirty House music. The Trance & Progressive outpost for the day was held down in one of the tents by none other than Ferry Corsten, where he played back to back 15 minute transitions the whole day with Shogun, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate, Sied van Riel, W&W, Solarstone, Orjan Nilsen, and of course JOC. It was a great thing to see Ferry on European grounds where he is of legend as a Trance producer and DJ, not one of Electro and House as his current North American persona would convey. Though his closing set gave the tent more of an Electro vibe than it had all day, it was nonetheless an awesome close to one of the best days in dance music history. Give a listen to one of my favorite sets of the weekend as Ferry takes you away playing B2B with Irish powerhouse JOC then goes in for a solid closing set!

16 Live Set Downloads from Q-Dance's Defqon 1 Festival

A quick look at photos and videos from June's Defqon.1 event in The Netherlands is enough to change anyone's opinion on the harder styles of dance music. Q-Dance's premiere event has captured the minds of thousands of festivalgoers worldwide with its attention to detail for everything from the stage designs to the lighting to its immense pyrotechnics displays.

I'm extremely excited and anxious to report on how the Q-Dance brand lives up to its name next weekend with its dedicated stage at Tomorrowland. Check below to stream and download some of the powerhouse mixes from the BLUE stage at this year's Defqon.1, my personal favorite is Deepack's mix!
