"Black Magic" (Part 2) - Kill the Noise

I was converted to an obsessive Kill the Noise fanatic last year, and I mean it when I say that nearly everything he releases or is involved with I am crazy about. Having worked with Dim Mak, Mau5trap, and OWSLA, Jake Stanczak has proven to be extremely talented, versatile, a performer in every sense of the word, and understands music as something to experience and truly listen to - not just noise to hear. "Black Magic Part 2," his latest Drumstep creation, laces in choir-like vocals, heavy buildups, and furiously dense bass drops. The track goes into beautifully dark places and takes the listener up and down peaks of intense musical tension before releasing it as hard as possible. I had to get up out of my seat when I first heard this track because my blood was pumping so hard. So, Kill the Noise, once again I am bowing to your immense musical genius.

Your Guide to HARD Haunted Day of the Dead Los Angeles

Get ready for a night of ghouls, beats, and banging bass Cali, because the HARD Haunted Mansion is coming your way next weekend! Featuring a wide array of artists, you'll be able to sink your teeth into everything from Moombahton to unky Electro. The Day of the Dead is about to invade the area and haunt your ears with electrifying bass! Here at EDM Lounge we are just shivering with anticipation to join the dance with the devil this November 3rd. Get ready to be a victim and surrender your soul to the sinister sounds of this year's HARD lineup.

Araabmusik (The HARD Stage, 7:00 - 8:00 PM)

MPC master, this Rhode Island native has made a name for himself in Hip-Hop. Drumming on the MPC pad almost as if he was playing the drums, this impressive music producer has even inspired the likes of Kanye West to try out his live composition. After touring the country with the renowned Pretty Lights, you can be sure that his performance will be anything but tame.

Jack Beats (The HARD Stage, 8:00 - 9:00 PM)

British House & Bass duo Jack Beats are definitely a different brand of "HARD". After just releasing their Evolution mixtape featuring original tracks that will be released this December 9th, they are ready to make some nasty beats on the HARD stage. With an energetic stage presence, you can be sure that Jack Beats will surprise you in a good way.

Zeds Dead  (The HARD Stage, 9:00 - 10:00 PM)

Zed's Dead, baby! This Dubstep duo comprised of DC and Hooks are massive not just the EDM world, but now the video game world as well. After having a track being featured in the new Forza Horizon trailer, you can bet that you will not want to miss this display of hard drops and pounding bass adrenaline!

Major Lazer (The HARD Stage, 10:10 - 11:40 PM)

After parting ways with DJ/producer Switch, producer Diplo has a lot on his plate, not to mention the release of Major Lazer's new album, Free the Universe. This hybrid of reggae, hip-hop, Electro House and Moombahton is a culmination of all the great "hard" music out there. Major Lazer has been known for being a bit bizarre and weird, so if you like funky sounds and dirty dancing, you have come to the right place!

Kill the Noise (Earstorm Stage, 10:15 - 11:15 PM)

Hailing from the bustling city of New York, Jake Stanczak is an incredible House and Dubstep producer. With a new EP called Black Magic in the works, Kill the Noise is making big waves in all that is hard and grimey. Collaborating with big names like Datsik, Skrillex and Evol Intent, Kill the Noise is definitely a must-see on our list of hauntings this Saturday!

"Tornado" - Tiesto & Steve Aoki (Kill the Noise Remix)

Kill the Noise is back with a remix of the Tiesto x Steve Aoki project "Tornado," turning the fast-moving House track into a Dubstep banger. This Dim Mak release features vocals from Polina, which KtN cuts up to accompany his buildup, followed shortly by a heavy drop centered around high pitched synth. Bass fans, "it's too late to run" from this one.
