Your Guide to Saturday at EDC Vegas

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. With the kickoff of the 2012 edition of Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas coming up tonight, the only thing on my mind is making sure I wake up in time to make my 7 AM flight out
of LaGuardia en route to Sin City. The EDMLounge team is waiting for me and I certainly cannot wait to meet up with them!

Now, we've heard it all. "This is the year of EDM." "EDM is bigger than ever." "Jay-Z wants to cash in on the EDM craze." In all honestly, it's all very true. Hell, your mother probably listens to EDM. But how significant is a festival like EDC Las Vegas? With around 350,000 tickets sold over 3 days in the largest party city in the world, this festival is certainly going to satisfy each and every beautiful person in attendance. And if you're like me, you're going to plan out each day to ensure you absolute will not miss your favorite DJs.

I really love Saturday because, coming off Friday's insane house, progressive, and electro acts (Kaskade, Angello, Ingrosso, Hardwell, Morillo, SJ&RM, AN21, etc) this day is set for a super beautiful and euphoric ASOT. My heart is beating and my skin is tingling just thinking about it. Drink LOTS of water, take your vitamins and try, yes, please just try, to eat something during the weekend because we all know no one is getting any rest.

If you were hovering around the ASOT tent at EDC NYC you definitely caught the sweet sounds of these two trance staples. And to have them team up and lay down a bed of some of the most perfect beats for Sarah Bettens' melodies is just BOANG! This track is catchy, it moves and it drives a nice steady beat that's more house influenced than trance... certainly not a bad thing! EDM cross pollinates genres more than most and here at EDMLounge we absolutely LOVE it!

Tonight: Live Stream of Ultra Buenos Aires on UMF TV

In case you didn't know, Ultra Music Festival has become a wordlwide phenomenon. Tonight, UMF hits Buenos Aires, Argentina, with EDM acts Kaskade and Justice LIVE as the main headliners. UMFTV, the Ultra Music Festival YouTube channel, will be broadcasting a livestream of the festival starting at 10 PM Eastern/7 PM Pacific. Which acts will be broadcast has not been announced, but make sure to check out the broadcast tonight. The livestream from Ultra in Miami this year was excitedly watched from EDM fans all around the world, so don't miss this one.
