"This Is Love" ft. Eva Simons - (James Egbert Remix)

Spawning a whole EP of purely remixes, "This is Love" proves to be a versatile Electro House track that many different artists want to get their hands on. Featuring the amazing vocals of Eva Simons and the former Black Eyed Peas front man, this track was perfect to be remixed by a more tried and trusted electro house artist, and James Egbert's remix of the song demonstrates the young producer's attentiveness to detail and his passion for making high energy House beats. Having to compete with remixes by Afrojack, Sidney Samson, Damien Le Roy, and Richard Vission Solmatic, James Egbert was already in for a tough task. However, he blows away the other remixes with his glitchy complextro style combined with emotional Progressive House synths. The song builds with an ever-rising emotional and airy keyboard melody that makes you crave the drop which explodes with Egbert's distinct, layered electro synths.  The drop's unpredictable melody keeps you on your feet while you rage the night away, and it intertwines with Eva Simons' soothing vocals to create pure euphoria of sound. Look out for this young artist who will be touring later this fall!

Track of the Day: "Back to New" - James Egbert (3LAU Remix)

3LAU remixes James Egbert's "Back to New" with a crazy synth lead mixed with some expertly cut vocals. This is one to play before you hit the town. Fun Fact: 3LAU is a college junior at Washington U. If he can make tunes this good while balancing a full course load I cannot wait to see what this kid puts out when he graduates and can devote more time to his music.

And if you enjoyed this one, make sure to check out this bumping bootleg vs. R3hab!
