Tomorrow in NYC: Fedde le Grand @ Pacha

Tomorrow night Fedde Le Grand will be giving his talented hands a stab at one of the hottest soundsystems in New York City. Pacha always hosts the biggest names in the industry, but this show is looking like it will be one of the biggest and best of the summer. After having multiple top 10 releases within the past few months, Fedde is on an absolute tear right now on top of just coming off a heart-stopping performance at EDC Chicago. The Dutchman is a rare breed of talent who kills every show he plays whether in front of tens of thousands at a festival or just a few at an intimate club. Over the last year, he's played sold-out shows all around the world and is now looking to impose his will on the now sweaty hot Big Apple. Tickets had previously sold out for this event, but have now come back on sale, so make sure you don't miss one of the best sets of the Manhattan summer! See you there!

"Glory" (Original Mix) - Flippers & Minimize

Sometimes I get down because in the world of EDM today where DJs can prerecord their podcasts and even live sets weeks in advance, so all it takes to have a good mix is a good tracklist. Yet not all podcasts are created equal. If there's anyone that's mastered music curation on a weekly basis, it's Fedde le Grand. Through various installments of Dark Light Sessions, the Dutch superstar DJ has been slowly infusing the oversaturated American Progressive scene with the sounds of European Tech, branding himself as a unique hybrid of the two that can appeal to both House aficionados and your typical weekend ragers. "Glory" is one of the tracks premiered to the world stage on this week's episode, and it hits hard. For the combined talent of two Israeli production veterans who have taken the rapidly evolving electronic sound by the horns, "Glory" is by far their greatest work yet. Play this one loud. Release date to be announced.

"Glowing" (Fedde Le Grand Remix) - Nikki Williams

It takes more than two hands to count the ways I love Fedde le Grand, especially as of late. In his latest remix, my go-to House DJ works on LA singer Nikki Williams' huge new track "Glowing." The South-African born songstress has been feeling incredible lately according to the lyrics on her newest work which first released back in November. Her soaring vocals go swimmingly with Fedde's Electro breaks that make me so excited for WMC this year. Unlike a lot of House DJs out there, Fedde lives up to the promise to play what is going to set off the crowd, not just what they know and already love. If you have yet to see Fedde le Grand spin, you're in for a real treat this Spring as he brings his tour all across the country on the road to Ultra Music Festival.

Free Download: My Favorite Sets from Ultra Music Festival 2012

The anticipation is building. It's getting cold on the East Coast, and we're all thinking about spring, sun, and the amazing festival season that awaits us on the other end of this hell. Today I'm feeling nostalgic about last year's venture down south to Miami for Ultra, which was one of the best experiences of my life. So now I present you with some of my favorite live sets from last year's festival. Unfortunately I couldn't include quite all of them (KASKADE!) because of sound quality and availability, but this covers quite a few and will keep me satisfied until March rolls around.

Pretty Lights

I've seen Derek play quite a few times but this was by far the best performance I've seen from him. The live stage at last year's Ultra was made for PL. I'm hoping they pick the same if he shows up for on the 15th anniversary lineup.

Carl Cox

Blew my mind. This guy is incredible and since he doesn't tour around the US too much, you must see him at Ultra this year. Last year he played in the afternoon at his own stage, and it was perfect. Tech House at its very best. Be sure not to miss him this year.

Bingo Players

Fuck these two are good. I'm not much for the House that gets a lot of radio play, but these two pull it off more than any two I've seen. Last year's set was mindblowing, here's to hoping they make it out again this year.

The ASOT 550 setup was prime last year, and I'm hoping that it's the same this year for weekend 2. ATB did an astonishing performance for the radio show last year, you'll just have to hear to believe what I mean.

Fedde le Grand

This set alone probably sent Fedde from budding DJ to superstar. One of the sunniest, most happiest afternoons I can remember, with this as the soundtrack. Get sauced and blast this shit.

Dash Berlin

ASOT 550 was something for the books, and I loved getting down in the afternoon to the sound of Dash Berlin. The Expedition makes its grand return to Bayfront Park this March. See you there.
