"Dreaming" (Chainsmokers Remix) - Smallpools

I'm always trying to feature up and comers on the site, but few of them have actually taken off before my eyes. After seeing Alex and Drew spin at the best underground massive I've been to in years out in Brooklyn, I can assure you that the Chainsmokers are without a doubt talent to keep your eyes on both on and offline. A quick listen through their repertoire reveals a knack for piecing together Indie pop vocals and guitar riffs with Electro and chill bleeps like you'll hear in this song. In their live performance this translated into rock-solid mashups of eclectic selections, that put the prerecorded mush of overplayed garbage a majority of the superstars are playing to absolute shame. Grab the free download now and expect to see these two in a city near you soon!

"Young and Beautiful" (Cedric Gervais Remix) - Lana Del Rey

After hearing the Marcus Schossow remix to this track, I pretty much knew I had my jam for the summer. I didn't think anything could top that gem until I found this. To no surprise the man who remixed this was none other than one of my favorite DJs Cedric Gervais. It sounds like he's really on a roll with remixing Lana Del Rey tracks, with his remix of "Summertime Sadness" still on massive replay. Those synths after the drop just have me hooked, and have me smiling every time. Gervais will be playing all over America for the next 2 months, so you need to make sure you're there to see him.

"Never Been" (Original Mix) - Angger Dimas

Steve Aoki's Dim Mak is home to an impressive collection of notable producers across multiple genres, and Angger Dimas is quickly growing into his shoes by experimenting with various sounds and styles. Most of his early material leaned towards traditional Electro House, but his "Don't Look Back in Angger" EP shows some experimentation with nu-disco and moombah (see "Good Stuff" for the moombah collaboration with Vandalism). "Never Been" kicks off with a repeating vocal loop that leads into the building verse, and luckily the song structure changes quickly so that the vocal loop doesn't get annoying. Funky guitar riffs give the song some fun vibes while simultaneously complimenting the bouncy synths. It's really refreshing to hear a playful, club-friendly electro track without the traditional drop in the middle. "Never Been" is a strong release by this young Indonesian producer and there are definitely some bright paths ahead of him.

Track of the Day: "Hey!" (Original Mix) - Filip Jenven

Making his debut on XtraLife RecordsSwedish producer Filip Jenven drops his track titled "Hey!". The combination of progressive and electro, full of percussive drums and a relentless bassline makes this massive track a definite subwoofer-wobbler and easily a summer banger and dancehall destroyer. Jenven even sneaks some sick violin sections in to complement the fierce Electro frenzy that awaits you with thunderous energy and intensity. Don't be surprised if you hear this riot of a track track snuck into some powerhouse sets this summer, it will surely catch you off guard.

New World Punx (Markus Schulz & Ferry Corsten) EDC 2013 Mix

Markus and Ferry made it clear at Madison Square Garden that they weren't chasing after the 130-140 Trance beats or vocal Progressive sound anymore. Their recent debut as the New World Punx is all about the dark pounding sounds of Electro, and today they're here to offer us a mix to tantalize our senses before the fun kicks off tomorrow in Las Vegas. Enjoy this short 30 minute mix and be sure to download their hit new single "Romper" here for free.
