Track of the Day: "Loud & Proud" - Blasterjaxx & Billy The Kit

Newly signed to Musical Freedom by Tiësto himself, Blasterjaxx and Billy the Kit unite for a massive festival banger! Their new single "Loud & Proud" released June 4 couldn't describe the track any better. Along with some nice piercing synth work, the melodies are superbly clean and lead into hard, powerful, and energetic chords all "to the beat of the drum." Songs are called anthems all the time but when you give this one a full listen and hear the bassline come in at 5:40 you'll realize why it deserves the title. Be on the lookout for these two dudes in the near future as they are now protégés of one of the Dutchmaster.

R3hab has only been on the scene for a few years but continually packs a punch with all of his remixes that truly reinvent great songs. Grab the free download below!

Track of the Day: "Malfunction" - dBerrie

In a genre that's based more and more on overworn, uninspired compressed and distorted saw wave progressions, it's nice to hear someone take it back a bit and explore every once in a while. Like Flamingo labelowner Fedde le Grand, New York City's own dBerrie has found his comfortable medium between the flair of his Tech roots and the burgeoning Electro House sound that has all the crowds hyped these days. His follow up to "Zenith" may ring a bell when you add it to your rotation, after all it was one of Fedde's most head-turning maneuvers at this year's Ultra Music Festival. So "yo check it out!"

Track of the Day: "Lift Me" - Maor Levi

Xtralife Records' (Strictly Rhythm) newest release comes from the versatile Maor Levi. Levi's "Lift Me," does exactly what the title describes - the quickly paced buildup paralleled with an angelic repeating "lift me up" voice sample brings you effortlessly into the clouds and has you staring into the sun the entire time. The track is definitely not a sleeper though, with just the right amount of bass rifts to carry you through the refrain. The cross-genre blending that Levi has crafted here is beautiful and dirty at the same time. Keep on dancing through Memorial Day Weekend - love from all of us at the Lounge!
