Track of the Day 4/21/2012: "Lick It" - Kaskade (Skrillex Remix)

Kaskade is known for his melodic vocal melodies. Fact. But when Kaskade collaborates with well-known bass head Skrillex, a whole new animal is unleashed... and instrumentally no less. The house driven bass lines and head nodding beats are still there, but at a much more aggressive angle. In this track, Kaskade continues to push the boundaries of house music, solidifying himself as still the "Michael Jordan" of the EDM world. I've yet to find better. Check out this newly released track on the Lick It (Remixes) EP out now on Ultra Records. Be sure not to miss Kaskade, debuting his new show on the 2012 Freaks of Nature tour this summer.

Heady Bass Track "Brain Damage" by Curl Up

“Brain Damage” by Curl Up is a true choon. Big ups on this straight fire track that proves to be worthy of the real headies’ attention with its UK bassline and juke fusion style.

Cosmic Dreams has taken Chris Hurst’s “Kool-Aid (Oh Yeah)” and produced a sick drumstep remix. This tune has some crazy tempo switches and gives off a Knife Party-esque vibe that’s sure to be a banger.

Sick New Drumstep Remix from Aaron Bond

Bond's remix of "Can't Deny It" by Fabolous ft. Nate Dogg is drumstep, so it's a little faster than dubstep, but it still has that head noddy two-step bass and an awesome electro house drop. This is without a doubt my current party song. Give it a listen.

Filthy Dubstep Remix of Krome & Time's "The License" by Doctor P

Doctor P takes the Krome & Time jungle original and makes it into a dirty, bass-driven track that is sure to make you move. The song has an amazing drop that'll make any bass head want to get down.
