"Latch" (Manic Focus Remix) - Disclosure [Free Download]

In an unofficial remix for the song that mainlined soul in electronica for 2012, Manic Focus carries us away through sustained bass sections, refitting the song for a mainstage crowd. But this is no banger - instead of contaminating the pure sound of original with cheap wobbles, Manic Focus elects to inject melodic punches into the original that mount up to form one of the most powerful tracks I've heard in recent weeks. Grab the free download curteousy of MF and be sure to catch him this weekend at Summer Set Music Fest!

"White Noise" - Disclosure (Hudson Mohawke Mix)

I've been listening to Disclosure for quite a while now, but only in this song did I realize how sexy their music really is. The British Electronic band's latest release "White Noise" gets a signature treatment by Hudson Mohawke, which strays from his signature heavy trap styles and makes a gem that is smooth as butter yet still remains somewhat of a banger. The British legend who first stepped onto the scene at the ripe age of 15 as DJ Itchy to be the youngest finalist ever in DMC history is back in 2012 to prove his versatility. As both a "chillstep" song, or the backdrop to a slick nightclub, this is a work of pure musical talent and a sensual wonder of music.

"White Noise" - Disclosure ft. Aluna George

If you're like me and enjoy discovering new genres and sub-genres of EDM, then let me introduce you to Disclosure. When it comes to fusing future garage and Deep House, no one does it better than the brother duo made up of Guy and Howard Lawrence. The group is currently one of the most hyped names in the UK and the post-Dubstep scene. Seductive vocals by Aluna George and hypnotic vibes melt together forming a beat that takes the meaning of groovy to a new level in their newest track “White Noise.” The song shows off the group’s rhythmic noise style - just a tease of their debut studio album set to be released March 2013. Adventure Club featured their single “Latch” in their absolutely massive Life in Color mix and Ultra Music Festival announced Disclosure in the phase one line-up as one of the live performances. Disclosure is one of my personal favorites when it comes to funky bass lines with shuffling hi-hats, and believe me, you'll want to know their name for 2013.
