"Watch Out For This" (Bumaye) - Major Lazer

Unfortunately for me, Major Lazer’s highly-anticipated album, Free The Universe, has been pushed back until April. I was devastated when I heard this news, but fortunately ML has decided to release the second single from the album (the first one being "Jah No Partial") to tide us over. "Watch Out For This" (Bumaye) is the polar opposite of "Jah No Partial," taking a lot of inspiration from Jamaican dancehall instead of the bass genres. Tracks like this are the reason I love Major Lazer so much: the music produced by Diplo and the rest of his crew has this unique ability to blend together a huge spectrum of different styles into one unique sound. There are no other artists out there that can go from Dubstep bangers to dancehall-Moombah anthems like Major Lazer can, which is the reason why I’m so excited for the full Free The Universe release. But until then, I’ll just have to bide my time with this hot new track!

Track of the Day: "Party Shot" - Major Lazer (ETC!ETC! Remix)

With Cinco de Mayo and summer just around the corner, I wanted to spice up today's track of the day with a hot new moombahton track! With recent releases, "Express Yourself" and "Rasclat Riddim," Diplo dishes out another sexy, booty-shaking remix "Party Shot." LA-based electro house/moombahton DJ and producer, ETC!ETC! added serious heat to the dancehall summer anthem with its rhythmic tempo and classic moombah synths. Grab the track for free and turn that bass up! Tequila shot anyone?!

Stunning Animation for the Awesome New Track "Get Free" - Major Lazer ft. Amber

This amazing new track, produced by the reggae-influenced electro house duo Major Lazer, features melodic progressions and beautiful vocals from Amber (of Dirty Projectors). The DJ duo, which consists of Diplo and Switch, always impresses with both their harder dancehall-infused tracks and with their trance-like electro vocal tracks. The video, a piece of art, is equally impressive for its meticulously done animations and vibrant colors.

We can't wait to hear some dirty remixes of this track!
