Download Daft Punk Random Access Memories Leak For Free

Well the hype is finally over. Earlier today we were excited to hear that iTunes would be streaming Random Access Memories ahead of the May 21st release date and they finally came through. Of course that also meant the pirates would be at work getting it up on the web for all of our enjoyment. The files as of now are at a low 192 bitrate but who really cares? We don't usually post illegal downloads but hey, this is Daft Punk. We're not hosting the files so suck it Columbia!!!

If there are any translators in the "House" someone help me out with that intro. Otherwise just ignore it and tune into one of the few mixes the Frenchies have released in years exclusively for FG DJ Radio. The two get right at it spinning classics from Homework before taking us through the years to Discovery and beyond to Random Access Memories. Their remix of Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" had me out of my mind. Whether this side of them that's been categorized as "EDM" will carry on after this May is moot because this mix is robot-rocking! Grab the free download and tell us your favorite song on the mix! Track of the Day: "SNL" - Daft Punk (Basic Physics Remix)

This is a submission I took quick listen to and knew I had to post. What appears to be a remix is nothing more than a mainstage-ready mix spliced with samples of Daft Punk's latest teaser. Basic Physics takes us on a radically unexpected ride through the waves of Progressive & Electro that is astonishing and refreshing. There's a magical balance in "SNL" between the soft-Electro Daft Punk rifts and the out-of-body high you get from the wall of sound rushing at you, which is all him I might add. Minneapolis based Basic began his touring career just last season and has a fair amount of really quality free DL remixes in his arsenal. With his own sound predominant in this soon-to-be hit, he very may well land a spot on the US touring circuit as a recognized DJ!

Daft Punk Confirms 4th Studio Album For Release This Spring

Huge news guys! The French-House production duo that has been notorious for shrouding their whereabouts and projects in mystery have confirmed that their much anticipated 4th studio album will be released this spring. The two will be breaking their album-spree with huge industry label EMI and will be releasing their follow-up to Tron under the Sony umbrella on Columbia records. I for one am hugely excited to see what these two have for our ears, since their last album was more film-oriented than a hugely creative new project. Let's hope that this means a tour this summer, I know all of us are crossing our fingers on this one.

Daft Punk Coachella Music Festival 2013 Rumors?

2013 may be the year that the mysterious duo that everyone has on their minds finally comes back to the good ol' USA. The elusive helmeted French House legends Daft Punk played at Coachella at 2006, so I would not be surprised if they came back this year. Coachella is the USA's biggest festival with the biggest names and with their mainstream appeal it makes perfect sense that the two make their big return to the salivating American EDM community there of all places. After all, if you were old enough if the early 2000s I'm sure you remember hearing "One More Time" on the Top 40.

Songkick sent out these emails earlier today, which in the past have been very accurate (the main Electric Zoo 2012 lineup was basically "leaked" through SongKick). A search on the website doesn't turn up results but this may mean we're about to get a taste of what these two have to offer us in 2013, hopefully in the Indio desert this spring.
