"Faded Memories" (Etasonic Remix) - Flatlex

The all-encompassing power of Trance is captured in its essence in Etasonic's latest remix for Flatlex - "Faded Memories." Interlocking beautiful harmonics with an uplifting drive, piano breaks, and a melody that speaks straight to the heart, "Faded Memories" is exceptional in its storytelling ability. Each person on the dancefloor goes into their night out with a different outlook and different baggage, but the music cannot distinguish one listener from the next. To the sound we are all one, caught in the divine flow, either fighting the waves separately, or fused together in a delightful surrender. Check the five minute preview of this euphoric anthem below and be sure to watch out for the full extended remix coming soon!

"Lost In Noise" (Sebastian Brandt Remix) - Indecent Noise & Lostly

In a masterful feat of modern Psytrance, Sebastian Brandt strips out the melody of "Lost In Noise" centering his remix on the push of Indecent Noise & Lostly's original. The track gets off to a ferocious start and keeps this vigor throughout, only easing up for those meditative atmospherics we all enjoy on a trance-night-out. "Hideaway" (Gorgon City Remix) - Kiesza

After I took a listen to London production duo Gorgon City's take NYC vocalist Kiesza's "Hideaway" I found myself trying to classify the sound. Merging a compelling House beat with a tight and low Dubstep-inspired slab of bass, the duo's latest remix will have your subwoofers smiling brightly. Listen to the full-length genre-defying preview below and be sure to grab yourself a copy when the record drops later this month!

You’re just a chance I take to keep on dreaming
You’re just another day that keeps me breathing
Baby, another week-end, there’s nothing sure
Baby, don’t stop me, hide away with me some more!

Painted Black NYC Act I With Klangkarussel & More @ Irving Plaza

This Thursday February 13th marks Painted Black's first of three events in New York City with the US debut of Klangkarussell at Irving Plaza. Join us near Union Square for a delightfully dark celebration of the baddest of all colors and its influence in our city and the arts. Though you may recognize them for their sunny track "Sonnentanz," the Austrian duo Klangkarussell (German for "sound-carousel") are equally exceptional at filling deep beats with dark synths. Check out their latest release for Anjunadeep below, which follows their latest trend towards such a sound.

Joining the duo on the roster are two equally BLACK artists. Thomas Azier will be bringing his dark, experimental pop beats to the decks. Stefan Biniak will be provide contrast to the night with his unique cross-section of butchered vocal samples and melodic, atmospheric beats. As the first in a series of events, this is surely a night you won't want to miss - so see you there!

"Conversus" (Turn Up) - D-DOTs

In a proper follow up to their colossal debut "The Mummy," D-DOTs return with a future-Moombahton smasher "Conversus" (Turn Up). Other than the "Turn Up" vocal sample the production strays far from your typical Moombah production replacing dancehall vibes with a intoxicating, hallucinatory aura.
