Tonight in NYC: Simon Patterson @ Santos Party House

When the clock strikes eleven tonight the New York TranceFamily embarks on a journey down the rabbit hole with an open-to-close set hosted by Esscala from one of my favorite DJs, Simon Patterson. Psychedelic and driving, "Psymon's" sets are expeditions through the swift and dark soundtrack of the night, constrasting between Progressive House and Trance but never afraid to be of their own invention. The sweet tension between various facets of sound are the defining characteristic of Simon's mixes, surely something I'm more than willing to get lost in for five hours. This is a big weekend for dance music in New York City, but this is the show you don't want to miss at one of my favorite venues, the intimate and always loud Santos Party House. Grab your presales before they close, the first tier of tickets is already sold out so you know this is going to be a big night!
